New NSW Property Pricing Laws
Law reforms targeting underquoting are imminent and will start on 1 January 2016. They are the government’s response to the growing number of complaints received about agents underquoting prices. They are designed to provide transparency and to prevent properties from being underquoted and to better protect consumers against misleading advertising. Under the new amendments further requirements and obligations will placed upon agents which will make them more accountable for their actions. As a result of the changes you will need to be aware of how to implement the government’s new rules.
