Areas of specialisation
Shareena heads up our Litigation Team. Her practice includes:
- Commercial Litigation,
- Dispute Resolution,
- Insolvency, and
- Recoveries.
She often represents parties in commercial disputes, contractual breaches, professional indemnity insurance claims, property agency disputes and strata disputes. Her practice also includes front end aspects including review of risk management processes, drafting commercial agreements, and providing strategic advices. Shareena believes in “Keeping it Simple”.
From time to time, Shareena acts both as instructing solicitor and as Counsel. She is admitted to practice in the Tribunals, State Courts, Federal Courts, and the High Court of Australia.
Experience
Shareena was admitted to the legal profession in 2008 and has since practiced law in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. She has extensive experience in dealing with civil cases in each of the State Courts throughout Australia, as well as, in the Federal Courts.
Interests
Shareena is also an Executive Member of the Hindu Council of Australia, a not-for-profit organisation embracing multiculturalism in Australia.
